By Fanuel Chinowaita

Mutare has a new digital media platform following the launch of Dareguru TV, a podcast that is amplifying local voices and unpacking issues shaping the city and its surroundings.

The podcast’s studio is based at TM Shopping Centre, Chikanga Phase 2, positioning it at the heart of one of Mutare’s busiest residential and commercial hubs.

Although Dareguru TV was conceptualised and started earlier this year, it officially began operations this month with its first interview featuring Zion yekwaMunaki.

Dareguru TV focuses on trending and topical issues affecting Mutare, with content covering church affairs, politics, traditional leadership, and community matters, among other subjects.

The platform aims to provide a space for open dialogue, informed discussion and community engagement, while spotlighting voices that are often underrepresented in mainstream media.

By blending local relevance with digital reach, Dareguru TV seeks to connect Mutare residents with leaders, influencers and ordinary citizens who are shaping conversations within the city and beyond.

The podcast is accessible across major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, allowing audiences to follow, watch and engage with content in real time.

With its launch, Dareguru TV adds a fresh voice to Mutare’s growing digital media space, reflecting the city’s stories through local lenses and contemporary conversations.
