Mutare, 12 August 2025 – A tragic accident claimed a life this morning after a train hit a pedestrian at the Bodyslam, Chikanga area in Mutare around 10:30 am.
According to an eyewitness, the victim was walking along the railway tracks when the train struck. “The pedestrian was walking on the tracks and was hit by the train,” the witness recounted.
Authorities are expected to launch an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
