Mutare, July 3, 2025 <\/em><\/strong>– A fire broke out at Eat n Lick, a popular fast-food outlet located along the main street near Border Lodge in Mutare, around 15:20 hours on Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wasu Post witnessed the incident and captured footage showing flames shooting from the restaurant\u2019s chimney, prompting panic among nearby businesses and pedestrians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quick-thinking staff at Eat n Lick managed to extinguish the fire before the arrival of the Mutare Fire Brigade, who came a few minutes later. No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the time of publication, the cause of the fire had not yet been established.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The restaurant remained closed following the incident as officials assessed the extent of the damage. Further investigations are expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
