Nyamuroro, Zimbabwe \u2013 16 April 2025<\/strong> \u2013 NetOne today officially handed over a fully renovated and modernized computer lab to Nyamuroro Kubatana High School, marking a significant step in bridging Zimbabwe\u2019s digital divide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The state-of-the-art facility, equipped with the latest technology and modern furniture, will provide over 300 students with access to robotics, engineering, and digital literacy programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n His Excellency, the President of Zimbabwe Emerson Mnangagwa commissioned the lab in a ceremony attended by government officials, education stakeholders, and community leaders. The event emphasized the government\u2019s push for inclusive technological education, particularly in underserved communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Speaking at the handover, the President praised NetOne\u2019s investment in youth development, stating that the lab will empower students with skills critical for Zimbabwe\u2019s digital future. The commissioning was followed by a children\u2019s party at the school, celebrating the students\u2019 new learning opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThis facility is a game-changer for our community,\u201d said the school\u2019s headmaster. \u201cOur learners now have the tools to compete in an increasingly digital world.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n The project, a collaboration between NetOne and the government, aligns with national efforts to promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education.
