The initiative saw fans collecting litter and clearing waste in public areas as part of the national programme held on the first Friday of every month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The clean-up exercise was led by CAPS United Chipinge supporters\u2019 chairperson, Tavengwa Chadura, and Dynamos Chipinge supporters\u2019 chairperson, Taka Muchira.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking during the event, Chadura said football supporters should go beyond cheering for their teams and contribute positively to community development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe should not only be known for supporting football, but also for supporting government programmes that improve our communities, such as keeping our surroundings clean,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Muchira echoed similar sentiments, highlighting the importance of unity despite club rivalries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are rival teams, but we have joined hands to complement others in cleaning the environment.
