I began by praying at home, but by 2015 I realised the space was no longer enough,” Apostle Saburi said.

He explained that the church has since grown beyond Dangamvura, with branches now established in Mutasa South, Mozambique and other parts of Manicaland.

“God has been faithful. From a small beginning at home, the ministry has grown to reach different communities and even crossed borders,” he said.

Apostle Saburi revealed that the 11th Anniversary celebrations will be headlined by Prophet Masase from Zambia, who will serve as the Guest Speaker.

The theme for the celebration is “The Making of The King.”

“This anniversary is not just about years, but about spiritual growth. The theme ‘The Making of The King’ speaks to how God prepares His people through seasons,” Apostle Saburi said.

With over 20 years in ministry, Apostle Saburi shared that his journey began as a church singer before answering the call to pastoral work, eventually becoming an Apostle within his own ministry.

“I started as a singer in another church. Ministry has been a journey of obedience and learning,” he said.

Those who knew him growing up say his calling was evident early on. A former schoolmate told The Wasu Post that Apostle Saburi’s path into ministry came as no surprise.

“When I heard that Tinashe had started a ministry, I was not surprised at all. Back in high school he was active in the Scripture Union and he was the best singer. We used to call them the ‘holy boys’,” the former schoolmate said.

Born into a large family of 15 children, Apostle Saburi has a twin brother and credits his upbringing for shaping his character and resilience.

Beyond the pulpit, he is also involved in various business ventures, including real estate. He is married to Nyasha Saburi, and the couple has one child.

The church has extended an open invitation to believers and members of the community to attend the anniversary service.

“The anniversary services will start on Thursday from 5pm to 8pm. Friday and Saturday will be at the same time and then the main service will be held on Sunday,” Apostle Saburi said.

“Everyone is welcome to come and celebrate with us what the Lord has done over these 11 years,” Apostle Saburi said.

The 11th Anniversary celebration is expected to draw congregants from different branches and the wider Mutare community for a day of worship, teaching, and thanksgiving.

By Fanuel Chinowaita Dangamvura, Mutare, 16 February 2026 – Well Of Life Bible Church will next Sunday celebrate its 11th Anniversary with a special gospel service set to be held in Dangamvura, at the venue formerly known as Dangamvura Hotel.
