That is the power of digital platforms, and I encourage young people to use them effectively.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"452\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/thewasupost.co.zw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/IMG_20250924_013824-1.jpg?resize=640%2C452&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1122\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/thewasupost.co.zw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/IMG_20250924_013824-1.jpg?w=703&amp;ssl=1 703w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/thewasupost.co.zw\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/IMG_20250924_013824-1.jpg?resize=300%2C212&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CNRG Communications and Advocacy Officer Donald Nyarota said the training was part of a broader project being implemented in Manicaland, Hwange, Bikita, and Masvingo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cToday we are engaging youths in Manicaland, empowering them with digital skills to engage on natural resource governance,\u201d said Nyarota.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis project, called Enhancing Advocacy and Capacity Building for CBOs and CSOs, is aimed at ensuring that young people can speak on issues affecting their communities such as gold mining in Penhalonga and diamond mining in Marange.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added that youth were a critical demographic in driving sustainable change.<br>\u201cYouths are not just leaders for tomorrow. They are the current generation,\u201d said Nyarota. \u201cWhen empowered, they will influence policymakers and ensure community voices are heard. We want them to speak on issues like environmental degradation and lack of rehabilitation after mining activities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The training also covered content creation, digital security, fact-checking, and engaging policymakers.
