MUTARE, 7 November 2025 – The Pacific Storm Soccer Tournament enters its decisive Round 6 stage this Sunday, 9 November at Chisamba Ground in Sakubva, with six of the best teams set to battle for a ticket to the grand finals in Harare.
The highly anticipated matches will feature Rozvi, City of Mutare, All Stars, Quarry FC, Tapitapi, and Chipolopolo, who all impressed in the group stages played earlier at Chinyausunzi Ground.
Tournament organiser Frank Bhunu said preparations for the weekend games were now at an advanced stage.
“Everything is set for Sunday. We are expecting competitive, disciplined, and entertaining football. The Round 6 stage will determine the top two teams who will proceed to Harare for the national finals,” Bhunu said.
The event, now in its second edition, has been lauded for rekindling grassroots football enthusiasm across Mutare. Fans have praised Pacific Storm for consistently promoting community sports through sponsorship and logistical support.
The top two teams from this weekend’s fixtures will advance to Harare in December for the national finals, where they will compete for the ultimate bragging rights and prizes.
Fans are encouraged to turn up in large numbers at Chisamba Ground to witness what promises to be another exciting chapter of the Pacific Storm Soccer Tournament.
