Man Stabbed to Death After Gambling Dispute in Chavhanga

CHAVHANGA, Honde Valley — A 38-year-old man was stabbed to death on yesterday morning following a dispute during a gambling game at Chavhanga B Centre in Honde Valley.

The deceased has been identified as Thomas Chiripawako, while the suspect, known as Mark Hachite, alias Manando, is reported to have fled the scene soon after the attack.

Witnesses said the two men were gambling when an argument broke out, leading to the fatal stabbing.

“The man was stabbed with a knife after a misunderstanding during gambling. He died on the spot, and we are still waiting for the police,” said an eyewitness.

The incident occurred around 10 a.m. under the jurisdiction of Village Head Chavhanga and Chief Chikomba.

Police from Aberfoyle Base under Ruda have since launched investigations into the matter.
