MARANGE, Bocha — Unity Stars maintained their position at the top of the ZIFA Division 2 log after edging Josmad Termites 2–1 in a tightly contested match played at Gomorefu High School today.
Gift Munyika put Unity Stars ahead early in the game before Denmark Marange doubled the lead with a powerful strike that left the Josmad Termites goalkeeper rooted to the spot.
Josmad Termites reduced the deficit late in the second half, but their efforts came too late as Unity Stars held firm to secure all three points.
The victory cements Unity Stars’ dominance in the league and strengthens their campaign for promotion.
