Mutare, 11 August 2025– A hit-and-run accident at Chindoti Business Centre, Gomorefu claimed the life of one man and left another critically injured in the early hours of today.
The incident occurred at around 12 midnight, when an unidentified vehicle struck two men. One victim Please Mushohwe is feared to have died on the spot, while Simbarashe Chindudziwas left unconscious and rushed to hospital.
Police are yet to release an official statement on the incident, as investigations into the circumstances and the driver’s whereabouts continue.
